After breakfast, drive to Londorossi Gate for registration and begin the trek through the lush rainforest. The trail gradually climbs toward Mti Mkubwa Camp, where you spend your first night on the mountain.

Continue through the forest as the landscape changes into heath and moorland. The trail opens onto the spectacular Shira Plateau, offering your first expansive views of Kilimanjaro.

Cross the beautiful Shira Plateau before continuing toward Moir Hut. This day allows your body to gradually adapt to the increasing altitude.

Leave Moir Hut and follow the trail around the northern slopes of Kilimanjaro. Enjoy spectacular views across the Kenyan plains as you enter one of the quieter sections of the mountain.

Continue around the northern circuit toward Third Cave Camp. The terrain becomes more open and rugged, with impressive views of the summit and surrounding landscapes.

Today's trek takes you gradually higher toward School Hut, your final camp before the summit. Rest and prepare for the early summit attempt.

Elevation: approximately 3,870 m → 4,750 m
Hiking time: 4–5 hours

Begin the summit attempt in the early hours. Ascend toward Gilman's Point and continue along the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement, descend toward Millennium Camp.

Summit: 5,895 m
Hiking time: approximately 10–14 hours
